Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets forth the rules and restrictions governing your use of the Video Aegis Services, Website, and Applications (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may lead to suspension or termination of your account, as described in the Video Aegis Terms & Conditions.
1. General Prohibitions
You must use the Services in a manner that is consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. You may not use the Services to transmit, distribute, or store any material that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, sexually, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
- Promotes illegal activity, including without limitation the provision of instructions for illegal activity.
- Exploits the images of children under 18 years of age, or discloses personally identifying information belonging to children under 18 years of age or harms minors in any other way.
2. Intellectual Property and Proprietary Rights Violations
You are prohibited from uploading, posting, emailing, otherwise transmitting, or posting links to any Content that:
- You do not have a right to transmit under any law or regulation or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, or proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements).
- Infringes any patent, trademark, service mark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights (“Rights”) of any party, or contributes to inducing or facilitating such infringement.
Prohibited activities include, without limitation:
- Making available copyrighted software or other Content that has had the copyright protection removed.
- Distributing serial numbers, cracks, or tools intended solely for software piracy.
- Making available any software files for which the user does not own the copyright or have the legal right to make available.
3. System and Network Abuse
You may not use the Video Aegis Services in a manner that compromises the security or integrity of our network or any third-party network, or interferes with the use of the Services by other users. Prohibited activities include:
- Interference: Uploading, transmitting, or posting links to any material that contains software viruses, worms, trojan horses, time bombs, or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer hardware or telecommunications equipment, or to diminish the quality of the Services.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or server of Video Aegis or any third party.
- Service Disruption: Interfering with or disrupting the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services, or disobeying any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Services.
- Circumvention: Decompiling, disassembling, modifying, translating, adapting, reverse engineering, creating derivative works from, or sublicensing any software deployed in connection with the Services.
4. Spam and Unsolicited Communications
You may not use the Services to send unsolicited bulk communications or spam. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Uploading, posting, emailing, otherwise transmitting, or posting links to any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas that are expressly designated for such purpose.
- Falsifying information in the header, footer, return path, or any part of any communication, including emails, transmitted through the Services.
5. Harmful and Fraudulent Activities
You are prohibited from engaging in any activity that is false, misleading, fraudulent, or harmful to minors, other users, Video Aegis, or the public. This includes:
- Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, including a Video Aegis official or employee, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Misleading Content: Uploading, posting, or transmitting any material that is false, misleading, or designed to manipulate any equity, security, or other market.
- Prohibited Transactions: Advertising, offering for sale, or selling any item that is illegal to sell, dangerous, obscene, counterfeit, or violates the rights of other parties, including, but not limited to, controlled substances, weapons, or unregistered securities.
6. Failure to Comply with Registration Requirements
Users who are required to register must provide accurate, current, and complete Registration Data. Failure to maintain and promptly update Registration Data or providing information that is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete is a violation of this AUP and may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, you should notify Video Aegis immediately.

8. Consequences of Violation
Video Aegis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action it deems necessary to enforce this AUP, including, but not limited to, removing Content, suspending or terminating your access to the Services, and cooperating with law enforcement agencies in cases where illegal activity is suspected.
